Paint by number free — the honest breakdown
By Bottle Me
Every paint-by-number app is “free” at the App Store. The difference is what happens after download: interstitials, weekly subscriptions, or a one-time unlock. The last one is the honest version of free.
The three free models
Ad-funded: interruptions between every region. Subscription-funded: the free tier is a trial in disguise. One-time-unlock: the core is free forever and Pro is a single purchase. Bottle Me is the third.
What you get without paying
All 60+ templates, standard fills, mood notes, the timeline and shared bottles — no ads at any tier. Pro adds ten premium textures, instant generation and watermark-free export, once.
Check before you download
Open the in-app purchase list and look for the word “weekly”. If you see it, the app is not really free — it is a rental.
